If I had one million dollars to give to a charity of my choosing
it would be to the Make- a- Wish Foundation because they give children who will
soon pass away, a chance to meet their idol. They give all children chances to
meet someone that they have only dreamed of meeting. Every single child always
has a smile on their face when meeting the celebrity of their dreams. Also, it
is an amazing experience for the celebrity because the Make-a-Wish child constantly
has a smile. This shows the celebrity that you can always find something to be
happy for even things are dragging you down and especially facing death. The
child receives a one on one meeting with their idol and at the end of it all
the child obtains merchandise from the celebrity, ranging from gear, to tickets
to an event. This foundation is very important to everyone because it teaches
people that you can still be elated even when death is knocking at your door.
