How Much Does Reality Matter?

I believe that reality matters and is often abused and replaced with an ignorant "image" of perfection. This is distorting the views of many people of whom pay attention to these malicious products or ideas. To begin, many people are inept to believe what is handed or sold to them, even if they are warped visions of a loose reality. For example, in the studios and on stage the reality of artists' music is warped and  let astray as many musicians resort to lip syncing on stage to try and sell an image of perfection or they are auto-tuning their voices  in the studio to make themselves sound better on songs and albums. Although, some might say that complete truth can be dangerous in situations and that a little exaggeration may be needed sometimes to convince people what ideas and decisions are right or wrong. I still believe in the truth, so that people are able to make decisions based on their own beliefs instead of those handed to them as a product of perfection.
