To me this means that you shouldn't pick your friends, or the people who hang out with by the way they look. You should choose them by how they make you feel and if they make you a better person or not. John Green has some really amazing quotes, but this one spoke to me the most. I think this is great advice to everyone for several reasons. Kids now a days do this. Boys want to hang out with girls with the prettiest face, coolest clothes, and etc etc. Same with girls when it comes to boys. I believe people should start looking a little deeper than the surface. A pretty face is nothing without a good heart or personality. In conclusion, I believe people should look at the heart instead of the face or outside features.
